Armands works at Faculty of Information Technologies at Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies as an assistant professor and lead researcher. He has participated in several international scientific projects that covers such fields as precision agriculture (specifically precision beekeeping) and smart cities. His research interests include Internet of Things, embedded systems, decision support systems, artificial intelligence and their application in various fields.
