The SAMS publication on “Challenges for Beekeeping in Indonesia with Autochthonous and Introduced Bees” has been published in journal Bee World (02.2019) and is a joint article by our SAMS partners – the University of Graz (Austria), the University of Kassel (Germany) and the Universitas Padjadjaran (Indonesia).
The publication takes a closer look on the current beekeeping situation in Indonesia, compares the Western honey bee with the Eastern honey bee and considers the preservation issue of autochthonous Apis species.
